*WARNING. This is going to be a SUPER LONG post*
Went Taiwan with these 3 blokes.
Arrived in Taipei and had our first meal in Taiwan.
And we stayed near XiMenDing:
Went to Danshui on the second day.
And we almost walked to Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf before we decided to take a bus. LOL.
Then to XinBeiTou to visit the hot springs.
Before heading over to the National Palace Museum.
We then settled our dinner at the Shilin Night Market.
We then ended our night by singing K at Partyworld!
Visited Taipei101 on the third day and met up with another of our OCS friend who is happening to be in Taipei working with his dad.
We then bought tickets for the High Speed Rail to Kaohsiung before heading back to our hotel for an early night.
Woke up early on the fourth day and sat the High Speed Rail to Kaohsiung. The journey took about 2-3 hours.
Checked in our hotel before visiting these places:
Then settling our dinner at Liohe Night Market.
Went to the Dome of Light before heading back to rest for the night.
Went to Dream Mall on the fifth day. According to Wikipedia, it is the largest shopping mall in the entire Taiwan and East Asia.
We then went to rent bicycles and cycled along Ai He(Love River) all the way to Kaohsiung National Museum of History. However, the museum was closed when we reached.
Settled our dinner at this place which was recommended by the staff at our hotel. The serving was huge! We then went back to our hotel after dinner to have an night as we're heading to Kenting the next day.
We booked a cab to drive us all the way to Kenting. The journey took about 2 hours. We stayed near a town in Hengchun, an ancient city built in 1873 during the Qing dynasty.
We found this shop by accident as we noticed a long queue outside.
On the sixth day, we bought tickets to enjoy the water activities at the beach!
Went to the night market to settle our dinner and even plated their street games.
And ended our night with a game of pool.
Bought train tickets to head back to Taipei for our 'last burst of fire'. Decided to take the train back because it was much cheaper than the High Speed Rail. However, the journey was much longer. Took like 5-6 hours via the train instead of 2-3 hours via the High Speed Rail.
We then stayed back at our hostel in XiMenDing and had the famous Ah Zong Mian Xian for dinner.
We then spend the rest of the trip at WuFenPu shopping. It is similar to our Bugis Street, except with more shops and nicer clothes. LOL.
And this is the amount of Tai Yang Bing we bought before heading back to singapore.
The trip was awesome and I'll miss those fun times I had with those guys during the trip as well as during our NS stint.
